The JAM Pedals Ripply Fall is an effect pedal combining the Waterfall, a Chorus Bucket Brigade (BBD) and the Ripple, a very "vibey" 2-stage Phaser. If you are a fan of beautiful modulations and "lush" Chorus, the Ripply Fall is a must!

Externally it is a JAM Pedals, it has a hand painted finish. Each pedal will therefore be slightly different from one copy to another. The controls are simple and intuitive.
Chorus slice: a Deep setting for the depth of the effect and a Speed setting for the speed. There are 2 toggle switches. One allows an extended frequency range for modulation, the other offers us 2 modes of use, namely Chorus or Vibrato.
Phaser slice: We are entitled to a Speed setting for the speed, the rest is common with the WaterFall. Note, each slice has its own switch to be activated. The middle switch allows you to multiply the speed of the phaser to simulate a Leslie effect, or even a Ring Modulator.

Inside, we have a quality PCB which only confirms the great care that our Greek friends bring to the manufacture of these pretty colorful pedals. There is also a pair of chips based on the Panasonic MN3207 which announces plenty of lush.

Connected to a clean base with everything at 12:00, we immediately notice the marked depth of the effect. It spins, envelops, magnifies, all without compressing or eating treble, it's warm and perfectly flexible because the controls are very progressive and musical. The Ripply Fall takes hold immediately and has a certain tendency to ring whatever the setting. Quite 80's oriented, it can be used without problem on a lead sound (this is clearly not the case for all pedals of the genre) because it remains transparent and precise, even stacked on gain. The Ripply Fall sounds very "fat" with a thick grain and a complex and fluid effect. This is also valid with the Vibrato mode which benefits from a soft and progressive curve and a sonic signature which really puts your signal in value. Note, the pedal is extremely quiet regardless of the mode chosen, which once again proves the quality offered by the brand. By activating the Phaser slice and pushing the Speed setting, you can mimic more than convincing Leslie-type sounds. The effect is warm, the curve is very progressive and fluid. By combining the Chorus + the Phaser, we obtain an ultra rich and thick modulation which will magnify any sound.

The JAM Pedals Ripply Fall is a simple, ultra-efficient 3D modulation offered in an accessible budget. We all need a modulation pedal to enhance our sound, so why not this one? :-)

ASICS Has the BEST No Show Socks
Size: Large, Color: White
ASICS has the best no show socks. My first pairs are from 10+yrs ago and I was thrilled to be able to find them still available in 2026. I wash and hang them to dry without any change in size or shape. Size Medium fits perfect. (I wear size 9 shoes, normal width, 10" feet). NOTE: I haven't run in them but walked briskly and they don't budge in tennis shoes and duck boots.
